Anainas looks for totally natural raw materials that are guaranteed and corroborated by studies—so that they have the right properties—and that contribute to a social purpose due to their origin.
For example, our Shea comes from a Ghanaian cooperative whose mission is empowering rural women in Ghana.
Anainas Shea butter is recognized by eco-certification. It is collected and processed by hand in the villages of the Northern Savannah ensuring the future of these women and their families.
Furthermore, this cooperative collaborates with the Wechiau Community Hippo Sanctuary. This is a unique project protecting and preserving wildlife and the environment of the Black Volta River. This river is home to the last hippopotamus populations in Ghana.
With this initiative we aim to contribute to Goals 5, 10, 12 and 15 of the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)
